Dispute Led To Arrest Of Suspect Wanted On Bench Warrant

Utica, NY (WIBX) - A dispute between two people led to harassment and drug charges for one of them. 35-year-old Liberty Verdell was taken into police custody for allegedly throwing eggs at the victim and striking her on the shoulder.

Officials accuse Verdell of giving them a false name during their investigation, and discovered that she was in possession of cocaine. They also learned that Verdell was wanted on an outstanding bench warrant for Harassment. Verdell is charged with False Personation, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Harassment.
