Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica Police say they arrested a man after an early morning traffic stop on the 300 block of Genessee Street.

According to the report, 58 year old Edwin Pett of Utica was pulled over for having a broken tail light when law enforcement officials discovered that his drivers license was revoked. He also had two outstanding warrants for his arrest.

Officials say Pett was wanted for Petit Larceny in Utica and the Town of Manlius. In addition to the previous offenses, the suspect is charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd Degree, and he was also ticketed for having broken tail lights. The report says Pett was pulled over at 3:00 a.m. this morning.
