Elephants, Other NY Zoo Animals, Get To Stomp, Eat Pumpkins

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Now that Halloween is over, animals at the Syracuse zoo get to stomp on the pumpkins and eat them.

Rosamond Gifford Zoo is giving pumpkins to its animals on Saturday.

A highlight will be a 1,100-pound pumpkin that is to be smashed and shared by the zoo's Asian elephants.
