Los Angeles, CA (WIBX) -  Celebrated pianist Roger Williams has died, known as the "pianist to the presidents" for having preformed for nine U.S. presidents, his most recent White House performance was in 2008. 

Williams became the first pianist to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, he died yesterday at his home in Encino, California after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

 His 1958 hit "Autumn Leaves" remains one of the best selling piano recordings of all time. Roger Williams was 87 years old.
