Fatal Head-On Susquehanna County Crash Investigated

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a fatal crash in Susquehanna County.

Few details are available, including the name of the deceased as authorities work to contact family members.

Officials say one vehicle was traveling south on State Route 4007 in Bridgewater Township at around 5:15 p.m. July 21 when it crossed into the northbound lane and hit a second vehicle head-on.

The driver of the northbound vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver of the first vehicle was airlifted to Robert Packer Hospital and that person’s condition is unknown.
