NG Advantage officials say they will start their application process over again after New York State Supreme Court Judge Ferris Libous ruled the Town of Fenton did not adequately review the company’s plans to address traffic and environmental issues at a planned natural gas transfer station on the West Service Road.

The Judge said the ruling just concerned the permit review process and did not mean the court supports or opposes the transfer station project.

Chenango Valley School District and others filed papers challenging the project saying it was too close to neighborhoods, schools and parks and located on a busy road that is routinely used by school buses.

NG Advantage issued a statement saying the company still plans to be part of the Fenton community.

The company selected the site due to its location near the Millennium Pipeline where the gas would be retrieved and transferred to trucks to be transported to customers in a 200 mile radius.
