SALINA, N.Y. (AP) — A large industrial fire has damaged a car dealership near Syracuse.

The Post-Standard of Syracuse reports ( ) that the fire consumed Hot Rides Auto Sales & Service dealership in the town of Salina around 9 p.m. Thursday. Crews from several fire departments were called in to battle the blaze. Mattydale Fire Chief Timothy Zacholl says strong winds and icy conditions slowed efforts to put out the fire.

Firefighters put the fire out around midnight.

The owner of the dealership says he does not believe anyone was injured. Investigators do not know the cause of the fire.
