Five Facing Weapons And Drug Charges After Traffic Stop In Utica
Five people are facing numerous charges after Utica Police conducted a traffic stop on the 1500 block of Elm Street.
Police were patrolling an active "Hot Spot" in the city when officers saw the operator of a vehicle commit a traffic violation.
They say a search of the vehicle turned up five loaded handguns, four rifles, one shotgun and a quantity of ammunition and drugs.
The following suspects were arrested:
- Brent A. Abdallah (age 23) of Utica, NY
- Gene Sebastino (age 40) of Adams, Massachusetts
- Joseph E. Giard-Bell (age 55) of Adams, Massachusetts
- Cameron Brown (age 22) of Utica, NY
- Alisha Callahan (age 23) of Poland, NY
They're facing charges including criminal possession of a firearm, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
