Florida Man Arrested For DWI Under Leandra’s Law

Madison County Sheriff's deputies arrested a Florida man for DWI under Leandra's law on Friday night.

Deputies say Anthony Franklin was allegedly driving 53 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone in Stockbridge when he was pulled over.

After an investigation Franklin was found to have a blood alcohol content almost three times the legal limit (.21), and also had his five year old child and three other relatives in the vehicle.

Franklin has posted $2,000 bail and will return to court on a later date.
