The former Director of Nursing at Mohawk Valley Health Care has pleaded guilty to two felony counts of tampering with evidence.

The State Attorney General's Office say 40-year old Nicole Wagner-Stinson admitted to destroying a witness statement which described a sexual assault incident at the facility and concealing medical records in order to cover up patient neglect.

Wagner-Stinson pleaded guilty on Wednesday in Herkimer County Court.

She faces up to four years in prison when she's sentenced on December 1st.

Charges are pending against three other defendants in the case involving alleged neglect and abuse at the facility.
