Former Employee at Utica National Arrested on Grand Larceny Charges
The New Hartford Police have arrested a former Utica National employee for Grand Larceny.
In late September police responded to Utica National Insurance Group regarding a larceny investigation involving the former employee. After speaking with Utica National representatives, police learned a club within the company was missing close to $2,000 from their funds.
At the conclusion of a two week investigation a suspect was developed and that suspect was 34-year-old Jamie Bargabos of Chittenango. Bargabos is accused of fraudulently using the club debit card for several unauthorized withdrawals over the course of several months.
Bargabos is charged with one count of Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree. She will appear in the Town of New Hartford Court on a later date in October.
