Hamilton, NY (WIBX) - Colgate picked up its first win of the season on Saturday, routing Sacred Heart, 35-14 in their home opener at Andy Kerr Stadium.

With the scored tied, 14-14 at halftime, Colgate scored 21 straight third quarter points to seal the win.

Junior Quarterback Gavin McCarney threw two touchdown passes and ran for a score, while Senior tailback Jordan McCord added two rushing TD's

The Raiders rolled up 445 yards in total offense, including 304 yards on the ground.

Colgate will visit Stony Brook next Saturday, September 22nd.
