The New York Giants are conceding that 2018 is over are trading off players that You Need Now!, in exchange for future draft picks.

Just hours after Pat Shurmur's Giants lost to the Falcons on MNF to drop their record to 1-6, cornerback Eli Apple was shipped to New Orleans for draft picks. On Wednesday morning they dealt standout defensive lineman Damon 'Snacks' Harrison to the Detroit Lions for another pick.

In the two deals, the Giants have acquired the Saints' fourth rounder next year and seventh round pick in 2020. For Harrison they get Detroit's 5th round pick next year.

Multiple reports says former All-Pro Janoris Jenkins is also garnering a lot of interest for other clubs.
