Got Junk? Senator Joe Griffo To Host Recycling Events This Weekend
New Hartford, NY (WIBX) - Got junk? If so you can dump it - legally - this weekend.
Senator Joe Griffo is hosting recycling events for a number of items.
A list of the items accepted includes:
- Electronics (computers, televisions, electronics, and small appliances)
- Paper and Confidential Documents (up to five boxes per car)
- Unwanted and / or expired medication
In addition free child identification cards will be made available through a partnership with the Oneida County Sheriff's Office.
The events take place:
- Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 10:00am to 3:00pm at the New Hartford Shopping Center located at 120 Genesee Street in Utica, New York;
- Sunday, October 14, 2012 from 11:00am to 3:00pm in the Westgate Plaza parking lot located at 1148 Erie Boulevard West in Rome, New York.
