Wale will perform at 7pm on Saturday, April 22nd in the Robert R. Jorgensen Athletic and Event Center at MVCC.

Mohawk Valley Community College will host the event at the Utica campus located at 1101 Sherman Drive. A portion of the concert is sponsored by MVCC's Student Congress and is intended for mature audiences.

Wale broke through the mainstream music scene with the release of his second album "Ambition." His Grammy-nominated single “Lotus Flower Bomb (feat. Miguel)” followed by “The Gifted,” launched his career and placed him on Billboard’s “Top 200 Albums” chart. You can find more information on Wale and upcoming tour dates on his website.

General admission tickets are on sale for $15, MVCC employee tickets are $10 and a limited amount of student tickets are free. Tickets can be purchased anytime on their website or in person at the MVCC Box Office from 10am-2pm, Monday-Friday.

MVCC's Cultural Series is supported by a collaboration between the Event Council and MVCC's Program Board.
