Griffo Receives Senator Walter Mahoney Award

State Senator Joseph Griffo has been honored with the Senator Walter J. Mahoney Award.

The award is presented by the New York State Troopers PBA.

It's given to an elected official who has demonstrated through words and actions his or her commitment to the men and women of the New York State Police and public safety in New York State.

“It is an honor to be this year’s recipient of the Sen. Walter J. Mahoney Award and to represent and advocate for the brave men and women who serve others as state troopers and in law enforcement across the state,” Deputy Minority Leader Griffo said.

PBA Representative Dominick Pedulla presented the award to Griffo at his Utica office on Wednesday.

This is the ninth year the award has been presented.
