Senator Joseph Griffo has secured $50,000 in state funding for the Boonville-Oneida County Fair.

Griffo says the funding will help the fair make capital improvements to the fairgrounds, which also are used for the New York State Woodsmen’s Field Days.

“We would like to thank Senator. Griffo for his efforts in obtaining this funding,” said Boonville-Oneida County Fair President David Hyatt. “This will allow us to make improvements to the fairgrounds so that we can continue to showcase agriculture in Oneida County.”

Griffo also recently presented a proclamation to Hyatt and other fair officials commemorating the fair’s 130th anniversary.

The Boonville-Oneida County Fair runs until Sunday, July 29th.
