Herkimer Police Make An Animal Cruelty Arrest

Herkimer Police have made an arrest in an animal cruelty case.

Officers responded to the area of N. Main Street and Green Street for a report of a male kicking a small dog in the head. Police interviewed witnesses who saw 47-year-old Terrence Watson allegedly kick the puppy.

He was arrested and taken to the Herkimer Police Department to be processed.  He was then released on an Appearance Ticket returnable to Village Court on a later date.

The dog was secured by Officers and turned over to the Dog Control Officer.
