
Inmate Charged With Promoting Prison Contraband
An inmate at the Oneida County jail has been arrested for allegedly possessing 40 Hyrdomorphone pills.
The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says corrections officers searching 31-year old Matthew Nichols found the pills hidden on him.
Nichols is charged with promoting prison contraband, a felony.
Nichols appeared in the Town of Whitestown Court to answer the charge and was sent to the Correctional Facility with no bail.
