Islamberg Still Plagued by Terrorism Accusations

Residents of a Muslim community near Deposit in Delaware County say they are continuing to be plagued by accusations that Islamberg is a training camp for terrorists.

A few years ago, the community was the focus of an on-line effort to recruit people to burn the community down and kill every man, woman and child living there, organized by a former congressional candidate from Tennessee.  Police have dismissed the terrorism accusations.

65 year old Robert Doggart had faced numerous charges for the alleged plot that called for heavy weapons and fire-bombing the compound and was convicted on some of the charges in Federal Court earlier this year.

The Chief Executive of the Muslims of America told Associated Press “If the Community has been training for a Jihad for 30 years”, why hasn’t a Jihad taken place.
