The UConn Huskies upset the No.6 Syracuse Orange  66-58 on Wednesday night in what was the last regular season Big East meeting between the two rivals.

The Huskies' Ryan Boatright hit three of his four 3-point attempts on his way to a game high 17 points. Omar Calhoun added 15 points and six rebounds, while Shabazz Napier added 10 points and seven assists.

The Orange struggled to find offensive rhythm - Brandon Triche was just 3-15 for nine points, C.J. Fair was 5-12 for ten points.

'Cuse was led by 15 points from Michael Carter Williams and 14 from James Southerland, whose academic issue that led to a six game absence were apparently unveiled at half-time.

Coach Jim Boeheim opened his post-game press conference by saying he would answer any questions from anyone, then looked at ESPN's Andy Katz saying he wouldn't take Katz's questions because he was 'an idiot' and 'disloyal'.

That seems to stem from information Katz received about Southerland's academic ineligibility, which he may have publicly revealed during his half-time report.

Up next, Syracuse (20-4, 8-3 Big East) will visit providence on Saturday night.
