Linda And David Morey Sentenced In Word Of Life Case

Two more defendants were sentenced in Oneida County Court today for their roles in the death of Lucas Leonard and the beating of Christopher Leonard at the Word of Life Church in October 2015.

Linda Morey and her son David Morey will each spend five years in state prison.

The Moreys had previously pleaded guilty to assault charges.

The final two defendants in the case, the boy's mother and father Bruce and Deborah Leonard, will be sentenced on February 6th.
