Liverpool Man Arrested On Burglary And Sex Abuse Charges

A Liverpool man is in serious trouble with law enforcement after being arrested on alleged burglary and sexual abuse charges.

New York State Police say, early Saturday morning 36-year-old Joseph Williams entered a home through an unlocked door and proceeded to allegedly sexually abuse a woman asleep inside the residence.

During the assault the victim's boyfriend was in bed with her and two children were asleep in another room.

At the time of State Police's arrival Williams had fled the property, but was quickly apprehended without incident.

Williams is facing several charges including Burglary, Sex Abuse and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.
