Local Vietnam Veterans Honored On Vietnam Veterans Day

Friday is Vietnam Veterans Day and local Vietnam vets were honored.

A Commemoration Pinning Ceremony was held at the Parkway Rec Center in Utica.

Special lapel pins were presented to all living Vietnam area veterans who served from November 1st, 1955 to May 15th, 1975.

Congressman Anthony Brindisi, Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente and Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri attended the ceremony.

Non-perishable food items were also collected for the Veterans Outreach Center.
