Madison County Employee Arrested, Facing Several Charges
An employee of the Madison County Department of Solid Waste has been arrested following a three month investigation by the Madison County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities say 41-year old Thomas Kenyon of Georgetown was allegedly taking diesel fuel from county-owned fuel pumps for his personal use.
During the investigation, it was also discovered that Keynon was allegedly stealing tools, gas tanks, small truck tires and dump truck batteries with a combined value of several thousand dollars.
Keynon resigned from his position as a mechanic prior to his arrest.
He's facing charges including grand larceny, petty larceny, offering a false instrument for filing and official misconduct.
