Madison County Men Arrested On Sex Abuse Charges

The Madison County Sheriff's Department is announcing the arrests of two men for alleged rape charges.

Police say Thomas Oliver, 59, of Canastota allegedly raped and engaged in oral sex with a child under the age of 13.

Oliver is being held in Madison County Jail without bail.

Sheriff's also arrested Timothy Scott, 36, of Earlville, on unrelated sex abuse charges.

Scott allegedly gave marijuana to a 12 year old before subjecting the child to sexual contact.

Scott is currently also being held in the Madison County Jail on $50,000 bail.

The Child Advocacy Center will be providing services to both of the victims.
