Man Admits To Tricking His Daughter Into Texting Him Nude Photos

A Herkimer County man has admitted to posing as his teenage daughter's online boyfriend to trick her into texting pornographic pictures of herself to him.

According to Syracuse.com, the 41-year old man pleaded guilty in federal court in Syracuse to 12 counts of enticing a child to produce child pornography and receiving and sending child porn.

Federal court records show the man used the photos as leverage when he began sexually abusing the 14-year old girl.  Court papers also said the man, posing as the boyfriend, repeatedly made the threat of sending the photos to the girl's father.

The man faces up to 250 years in prison when he's sentenced in July.  He's also facing sexual abuse charges in Herkimer County Court.
