Man Arrested For Having Crack After Nearly Hitting UPD Car

Utica Police arrested a man on multiple charges after a vehicle was in nearly hit their police car head-on on Bleecker Street.

Police say after the near miss they pulled the vehicle over and found one of the men in the vehicle had an active warrant.

They say the man got out of the car without incident, but dropped his wallet on the floor of the car where the officers could see a baggie of crack sticking out.

Antonio Ware was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
