Marcy Woman Charged With Grand Larceny After Wallet Theft

The theft of a wallet at the Boscov's Department store in New Hartford has led to the arrest of a Marcy woman.

According to New Hartford Police, they responded to Sangertown Mall after the alleged theft had been reported. The wallet did contain both cash and credit cards.

The complaint stated the victim left her wallet behind in a shopping cart. When she returned to retrieve it, it was gone.

An investigation by New Hartford police and Boscov's Loss Prevention has led to the arrest of 52-year-old Barbara Camerota. She is charged with Felony Grand Larceny and is scheduled to appear in New Hartford Town Court at a later date.
