Mariano Rivera wiped tears from his face in an emotional farewell in the Bronx in what was his final game at Yankee Stadium.

The video from MLB.com and the Yes Network details the incredible standing ovation he received. And, yes, that is Derek Jeter and Andy Pettitte who pulled Mo in the ninth after retiring all four Tampa batters he faced.

Interestingly, manager Joe Girardi says he will put some serious thought into putting Rivera in center field at some point during the Yankees season ending series in Houston.

Girardi said he didn't put Rivera in center on Thursday because the game still mattered for the Rays, who are trying to hold onto a Wild Card spot.
