New Haven, CT (WIBX) - Colgate won its first road game of the season on Saturday, routing Yale 47-24.

Quarterback Gavin McCarney passed for two touchdowns and ran for four more as the Raiders improved to 2-3.

McCarney finished 17-of-22 for 275 hards and ran for 85 yards on 14 carries.

Taliback Jordan McCord rushed for 139 yards on 24 carries.

It was his fifth time topping the 100 yard mark this season.

Colgate is off this week and returns to action on October 13th when they host Georgetown at Andy Kerr Stadium.
