Sullivan, NY (WIBX) - A dark-colored truck parked on Ditchbank Road stood out like a beacon of light and caught the attention of Madison County Sheriff's Deputies in Sullivan.

State Police K-9 cops were called in to check out the truck. What they found was a lot of drugs and an active methamphetamine cook in progress.

Because meth is so explosive police retreated until an emergency response team was called in to cover the crime scene.

The alleged driver of the truck, 31-year old Leonard Seth Spadter of Canastota, was arrested and charged with multiple drug-related felonies.

He is being held at the Madison County Jail on $15,000 bail or a $50,000 secured bond.
