Mother Charged After Child Falls From Window In Herkimer

The Herkimer Police Department has completed its investigation into an incident on South Washington Street in which a two-year old fell from a second-story window.

The child's mother, 21-year old Megan Muzzy, has been charged with reckless endangerment.

The toddler was treated for non-life threatening injuries at a Syracuse hospital.

Police say they're working with the Herkimer County District Attorney's Office and Child Protective Services to ensure the safety of the children in the home.

The incident took place last month.
