Motorcyclist Killed After Crashing Into Exit Ramp Barrier: NYSP
A motorcyclist was killed after crashing his bike in to an exit ramp barrier along I-787 in Colonie.
New York State Police say 33-year-old Akiem Keele was traveling eastbound on Alternate State Route 7 on Saturday night when the crash occurred. Troopers believe Keele was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control and struck the dividing barrier at the exit ramp to I-787 South.
Keele was transported to the hospital where life saving measure were unsuccessful, troopers said. He was pronounced dead at Albany Medical Center.
The accident investigation is continuing.
