Help Name The Utica Zoo’s Baby Sea Lion

The Utica Zoo needs your help: Vote on a name for the newest member of the zoo, the baby sea lion.

Here are the three options to choose from:

1) Loki - (low-kee) Norse mythological figure, mischievous.

2) Ryder - Munchkin (mom) was found as a pup on Surfrider beach in Malibu back in 1998.

3) Niko - (knee-coe) shortened from Nicoleño, a native American people that lived on San Nicolas island in the Catalina islands in the 1800s. A popular island rest for California sea lions.
