The names of the troopers injured during an arrest earlier this week have now been released.

Sergeant William Collins and Trooper Miguel Osorio are recovering from non-life threatening injuries.  Both were hospitalized after a police chase which started in Westchester County, crossed the Tappan Zee Bridge, and "ended with a crash, foot chase, and struggle," according to New York State Police, in the Rockland County town of Clarkstown, New York.

39-Year old Carlos M. Soto of New York City was taken into custody following the chase.

Soto allegedly drove his car head-on into a troop car driven by Sergeant Collins on Monday, January 27th.  Trooper Osorio was injured after Soto allegedly struggled with Osorio while being arrested.
