The National Arboretum is hosting a contest this month to name two eagle chicks, or "eaglets," born there this month.

Right now the babies have been temporarily dubbed "DC2" and "DC3."  The American  Eagle Foundation is asking that the suggestions be gender neutral since they are not able to determine the genders of the eaglets at this time.

The contest will run through April 26, 2016, can be accessed via social media using the hashtags DCEagleCam and NameTheNestlings.

A livestream of the eagle nest may be accessed via the foundation's website at eagles.org.
