Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica police arrested a man following a traffic violation on Mohawk Street. Police say the incident occurred during an operation to address crime in the James Street area. They accuse the suspect, 26-year-old Dennis Stackhouse of nearly causing an accident when he pulling out of a parking lot in front of a marked police car. During their investigation they uncovered that Stackhouse lied about his age and was wanted for violating his parole.

Stackhouse is charged with False Personation, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. He was also issued a traffic ticket and could face additional charges for the Parole Warrant.
