New Hartford Man Charged With Assault

New Hartford, NY (WIBX) - A lengthy investigation by New Hartford Police, Utica Police and the Oneida County Office of the Aging has led to the arrest of a New Hartford man on a felony assault charge.

Authorities say 59-year old Thomas Flanagan was involved in a domestic dispute with his 85-year old mother last August.

His mother suffered a serious leg injury which required several months of rehabilitation.

Flanagan is being held in the Oneida County jail for a parole violation.
