New Yorkers have scheduled more than 1.4 million reservations to visit Department of Motor Vehicle offices since the online service was introduced in 2013.

Customers who make reservations online are able to find a day and time convenient for them and avoid waiting in line for DMV services.

The online reservation system was introduced as part of Governor Andrew Cuomo's DMV Customer Service initiative.

Across the state, New Yorkers are taking advantage of this time saving resource that is part of our efforts to create smarter, more efficient government services," Governor Cuomo said. "We are committed to using technology and innovation to reduce inefficiency, improve convenience and provide better customer service."

The DMV website now offers more than 60 transactions and services online.
