ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — It's not too late to register for New York's popular haunted state Capitol tours.

State officials say online registrations for additional evening Capitol Hauntings tours are now open. The extra tours were added due to high demand.

The free tours feature spooky legends and folklore connected to the historic building. Stories include the night watchman who died in the Capitol fire of 1911 and supposedly still makes his rounds.

The tours are given at 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on weekdays through Nov. 2. Saturday tours start at 1 p.m.

Individuals and groups of 10 or fewer may register online at www.Empirestateplaza.org. Larger parties should call (518) 474-2418 to register.
