Norwich Woman Dies, Former Boyfriend Charged With Murder

A Norwich woman who was assaulted and robbed in the driveway of her home has died of her injuries.

The Chenango County Sheriff's Office says 39-year old Lucinda Knoll was attacked by her former boyfriend last Friday.

She died on Sunday.

48-year old William Danielson of Oxford is now charged with second-degree murder.

The Sheriff's Office is still asking anyone who was in the area of the Maple Grove Trailer Park around 6 a.m on Friday and may have seen suspicious activity to call them at (607) 337-1863..
