Notre Dame safety Drue Tranquill suffered a torn ACL in his right knee while celebrating after a play in Saturday's game against Georgia Tech.

Tranquill, who was making a comeback after suffering a torn ACL in his left knee last season, made a nice defensive play to break up a pass attempt in the end zone then jumped to chest bump a teammate in celebration. He came down awkwardly, twisting the knee and could be heard screaming in pain.

The eighth-ranked Irish went on to beat the fourteenth-ranked Yellow Jackets 30-22.
