HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) — New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli is being officially sworn in for another term at his alma mater on Long Island.

The Long Island Democrat's inauguration is taking place Sunday at Hofstra University in Hempstead.

DiNapoli became comptroller in 2007 and was elected to his first full, four-year term in 2010.

The office performs government audits, reviews state finances and manages the $207 billion state pension fund.
