New York Republican Party Chairman Nick Langworthy was joined on Wednesday by local residents at a “Stop the Madness!” anti-impeachment event targeting Congressman. Anthony Brindisi

The rally took place outside of Brindisi's district office in Utica.

Langworthy says the event is part of a nationwide effort to hold Democrats like Brindisi accountable for their extreme and politically-motivated actions

He says Brindisi ran his campaign opposing impeachment and then flip-flopped to vote for it last month.

Langworthy is calling on Brindisi to return the $2,000 political donation he received from the leader of the impeachment hearings, Congressman Adam Schiff.

Former 22nd District Congresswoman Claudia Tenney joined Langworthy at the event.
