The New York, Susquehanna & Western Railway Company has resumed rail service to the tracks along Route 840 and Routes 5, 8 and 12 in New Hartford.

That means some changes for motorists.

The New York State Department of Transportation says motorists using the corridors can expect to see multiple daily crossings and should be prepared to stop for signals at the crossings.

The rail service is being reactivated to service a new customer, Oneida Warehouse.
