If watched any New York Yankee baseball this weekend you saw something you almost never see: The Yankees wearing uniforms that aren't the classic style unis' they've worn for decades.

Here's a shot of Brett Gardner fielding a fly ball during their weekend series with the Orioles in Baltimore.

In fact, this is the second year that all MLB teams are donning different looking uniforms for Players' Weekend. You'll also notice the names across players' shoulders - in many cases - isn't the player's actual last name. Instead it's a the player's nickname.

Sonny Grey, pitching in Baltimore on Saturday, had his nickname 'Pickles' across his back name plate.

The pinstripes - although they weren't wearing them - have taken the first three game of the four game series heading into Sunday's series finale with the O's.
