What would happen if Oneida County was hit by a biological attack?

That was the scenario that played out today at Mohawk Valley Community College's  Jorgensen Athletic Center as the Oneida County Health Department held a Point of Dispensing Drill.

Director Phyllis Ellis says the drill tested the Health Department's effectiveness in responding to such an emergency. Ellis says they'll take a look at what they could have done better or different and what worked and what didn't work.

Community members took on the role of "patients" during the POD drill.  The patients simulated individuals that would potentially arrive at a POD site to receive lifesaving medication for their households.
