Republicans on the Oneida County Board of Legislators have released their goals for the coming year.

Number one on the list is reducing the county property tax levy by 3%. Majority Leader George Joseph says a 3% decrease is attainable

Joseph says after two years of no tax increases, it's time to start moving the other way and begin reducing taxes.

He says Republicans will also continue to sponsor legislation that makes the county more business friendly and reconvene Charter Reform Review to look for additional ways for the county to save money.
