Utica, NY (WIBX) - Oneida County is committing its resources to ending poverty.

The County is being identified as the lead organisation to help create partnerships to match community partners with individuals needing help.

The campaign, called "National Circles," seeks to end poverty by building relationships between people of all financial classes.  The campaign differs from those that provide food or housing as it concentrates efforts on building relationships that transcend physical needs and allow families to grow productively in their communities.

For more information on the program call The Neighborhood Center in Utica at: (315) 272.2600.
